Pearl Harbour & Mighty Mo - Missouri
Battleship Missouri is a National Historic site & a memorial to all those who have served in American forces
The USS Missouri was launched on 29 January 1944 & is the last US battleship ever built. 3 football fields long & towering over 20 stories tall. After joining the battle for Okinawa, she became the site of the Japanese surrender on 2 September 1945
Today she stands proudly overlooking her fallen sister ship the USS Arizona, providing closure for America's fight to bring peace to the Pacific
Check out the size of those guns. Her 16 inch guns could fire a 2,700 pound shell with a range of 23 miles
Bob playing "CAPTAIN" !!
