Military tunnel as the crater still has a military base inside
By the time we had found our way out to Diamond head by local bus, it was the middle of the day & stinking hot. The bus dropped us off with a very long walk into the Diamond Head National park. Took us about 1/2 hour to walk in

We made it !!! View from the top overlooking Waikiki beach, MAGIC !!! Well worth the climb
Plenty of stairs to climb, certainly takes your breath away !!!!

Time to walk out again through the tunnel to bus stop, feeling a little weary, as it was one heck of climb
