Famous Waikiki beach
Duke Paoa Kahanamoku 1890 - 1968 Although a descendant of Hawaiian royalty, Duke is a given name, not a title. He is known as the "father of international surfing" & was Hawai'is ambassador of ALOHA.

Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole 1871 - 1922. After the monarchy was overthrown in 1893, Prince Kuhio was elected as a delegate to the United States congress & served for 20 years until his death
Famous Waikiki beach. We were very surprised to learn that the "SAND" on this famous beach actually comes from Australia & NZ !!! Not need to leave home, could have gone for a walk on Bondi !!! at half the cost!!!!
