As luck would have it, we were in town for the big Floral parade, which involves all the 5 islands, schools, bands etc parading down the main street of Waikiki. Each island is represented by a different colour that the people & band etc are wearing
Hawaii has Cowboys & Cowgirls, locally known as "Paniolo (male) or Paniola (female)

Across from the parade is the gorgeous old Moana hotel, another relic from 1930's
